Hyena: Episode 15-16

Episode 15 was a great watch all throughout, but somehow it felt a little... slow? I don't know. Is it because of all the staging that needs to be done for the final showdown? Probably. Well, Episode 15 wasn't that draggy draggy, it just felt sort of slow compared to the previous episodes' paces, for me. Even so, at least these last two eps didn't feel sort of rushed—that would be a bummer for a drama that has been a bomb since Episode 1.

But I must admit, those scenes at White Hotel were super! It was funny to see Hee Jae literally enjoy their little act prior to checking in. He finally got the opportunity to diss our resident bitch, of course he's so gonna make the most out of it! 😂 Just the same, it was sooo awkward yet so dang hilarious to see Guem Ja act all spoiled and VIPsh in front of the hotel attendant. That O.M.G. coming from her? That was lit! 😂 Even more funny was the crime reenactment scene! Oh I so love those to bits!

And that proposal scene? I'm pretty sure there was some undertone in Hee Jae's words, no? Something in the lines of, "can we just get married for real?" Ha.

And yes, after all that staging, Episode 16 was a winner in all of its sense. I looove how Song Pil-jung got humiliated while being arrested during the Issume Board Meeting. Poor attorney didn't see that coming. I loved more how Geum Ja told Kevin off like he was nothing despite having everything (except Issume), but I love most how Geum Ja and Hee Jae's teamwork, backed by the hardwork from everyone at Law Office Choong, magnificently wrapped all of this mess up. See Hee Jae, I know you two are already good on your own, but you're even more of a bomb when you're together!

And of course, I love that there's an epilogue, because seriously... I felt that the ending, as is, would have been lacking in sooo many ways... as if something would still be missing even after everything has been wrapped up. So yeah, it was better to see our hyenas team up once more in that hilarious marketing stint rather than simply looking up a building, because even if it is open-ended, it gives a looot more hope for a second season.

Now that is something to look forward to. 😉
