2019 has been awesome not just because of the celebration of Seo In Guk's 10th year anniversary, but also because of the many projects and memories SIG Angels around the globe were able to create because of the friendship and support we give to one another.

SIG Angels Rice Wreath Project for Seo In Guk's 2019 10th Year Anniversary Concert

The year 2019 has been a milestone not only for Seo In Guk but also for us fans, as this marks the 10th year that In Guk has been in the industry after winning the reality show Superstar K way back October 2009.

Because of this, Seo In Guk is gifting his fans with a year-end anniversary concert, S#33/TAKE 10, which will be held on December 28, 2019 at Donghae Culture Art Center, Gwangwoon University.

In support to In Guk and his decade long awesomeness, SIG Angels is launching another wreath support project as a gift for him too. Apart from a lovely rice wreath for his upcoming concert, we also plan to send another wreath for his upcoming movie "Pipeline". As always, SIG Angels want In Guk to know that he has loving and super awesome fans outside of Korea, so we hope to see a lot of participation from our global fan community.

The first one was for a commemorative coin which will be given away to supportive participants who made this year's projects successful, as well as to a few lucky heartriders who will be present at the venue of Seo In Guk's year-end concert.

Angel Project 2018 for Seo In Guk Highlights

Hooray for another successful project for SIG Angels Philippines and SIG Angels Global! 😊


Through generous global angels' help, our fandom was able to accomplish yet another milestone under Seo In Guk's name.


Angel Project is an annual charity drive launched by SIG Angels for brave young warriors battling cancer. It is an activity usually held around December, as the said month is known for festivities and sharing love to one another. However, due to some unforeseen conflicts, Angel Project 2018 had to be moved from being held on December to a different date on January. The upside? We were able to gather more funds and donations to get our yearly drive moving. Yay!


For this year, apart from donations for cancer patient kids and those who are extremely ill, SIG Angels also extended help for patients in the PICU ward. 



Through the funds that the group was able to generate from various sponsors around the globe, we also got to share a few more gifts to the rest of the kids in different wards.




Indeed, there is no darkness so dense, so menacing, or so difficult that it can't be overcome by light. And our undying love for Seo In Guk proved just that. Through our fandom's yearly efforts, we prove time and again that fangirling isn't as shallow as other people deem it to be. Fangirling can also serve a purpose—a light of hope to those in need—just as how our Angel Projects always are.

Angel Project 2018 for Seo In Guk

Hello, lovely angels. It's that time of the year again!

Yep, it's the time of the year again where we present our beloved Seo In Guk our most precious gift—the gift of love. Christmas is the time that SIG Angels get to give love and make a difference on the lives of little brave warriors who are battling with cancer; and just like the previous years, we are once again holding a charity event under Seo In Guk's name so as to raise funds and provide monetary support for brave young cancer warriors.


This year, apart from extending help to brave little warriors and those who are extremely ill, we are trying to target patients from the PICU wards as well. A minimum of $30 sponsorship is needed to cover a child's medical and/or daily expenses, so we hope that you can be generous enough to sponsor at least one cancer patient child this Christmas.

For questions on how to donate, you may reach out to any of our SIG Angels admins for assistance. You may also visit SIG Angels Global and SIG Angels Philippines for further details. We hope to see more love and support as we welcome Christmas with Seo In Guk this year. May our undying love for him serve as a glimmer of hope for cancer patient children through this project.

Following the announcement that Seo In Guk will be holding a fan meeting concert come December, SIG Angels is here again for another support project for our beloved namja!

This project will be for another rice wreath which will be displayed at the concert venue. We apologize for the short notice though as we just heard from In Guk's company that they are accepting support requests. Our deadline is on Monday, Dec 3, 2018. We need all the help we can get to accomplish this.

Previously, we have gifted In Guk beautiful rice wreaths for his birthday concert held last October 2016, as well as his year-end concert last December 2016.

Seo In Guk's The Smile Has Left Your Eyes (alternate title Hundred Million Stars From The Sky) is his comeback project after more than a year of being on hiatus. It is an adaptation of a popular Japanese drama of the same alternate name, and will be aired on October 3, 2018 via tvN.

After more than a year of being on a break since Seo In Guk's military fiasco, heartriders and SIG Angels all over the world have been ecstatic about the news that he's taking on a new project.
Yep, Seo In Guk will be headlining the Korean adaptation of a widely popular and critically acclaimed Japanese drama entitled Hundred Million Stars from the Sky (Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi) aired by Fuji TV on 2002, which was top billed by Kimura Takuya and propelled his career towards stardom.
In line with this, SIG Angels Philippines and SIG Angels Global have launched another support project to cheer our number one namja for his upcoming drama.

Angel Project 2017 for Seo In Guk Highlights

Since we do this every year, I think I've ran out of creative titles for our Angel Projects. πŸ˜…


But as mentioned during a previous post, just because Seo In Guk is in a hiatus doesn't mean that support projects for him would be in a hiatus too. We've been doing the Angel Project under In Guk's name every year since the SIG Angels Fan Club was born, and despite In Guk's absence in the industry since March, we were still able to complete this project because of all the amazing angels who continue to love and support him all the way. 😊

As always, our Christmas Projects target brave little warriors who battle it out against cancer at the Philippine Children's Medical Center. Through the help of generous people, we were again able to support cancer patients kids this year.




Just like what we always do, vouchers were given away which the beneficiaries could exchange for cash to help them with their medical expenses and other medical needs, such as a bag of blood that might be needed for transfusion. 


Grocery packs were given away too, along with toys, books and coloring materials that could help ease the sadness and anxiety that our brave little warriors might be experiencing while taking their time to recover in the hospital.



The photo op for this year was conducted in the beginning of the charity proper, in contrast to what we usually do for the past two years. I was late for the party because I had to attend to something personal the same day Angel Project 2017 was held so I wasn't able to be a part of the official group pictures for the photobook, but good thing there were still other awesome shots afterwards that I was able to be in.

And credits to our master cropper for having me inserted into the admin's group photo despite my absence at the first photo op. 😁


Fangirling doesn't stop here though, as an after party also happened as soon as the charity proper was wrapped up. There were games, giveaways and a little chit chat, and everyone had fun eating together and spending the afternoon gushing over Seo In Guk.
